ASCV’s April Conference, Building a Spectrum of Opportunity, will be an invaluable resource for caregivers, self advocates, and professionals! This one-day event will feature high-quality, comprehensive educational opportunities on critical autism-related topics. Our goal is to provide attendees with the chance to learn, network, and gather resources.

Featuring keynote speakers, tailored content tracks,
individual IEP Consultations, an Exhibitor Display Area, and more!

Caregiver Track

Created for parents, grandparents, siblings, and others who support an individual with autism.  Network with fellow caregivers while arming yourself with tools, resources, and supports to set you and your loved one up for success.

Breakout session topics will include sensory foundations and integrations, behavior support basics, co-occurring mental health issues, utilizing DD waiver services, turning 18 in Virginia, and more.

Self-Advocate Track

Created for adults with autism. Meet other individuals on the spectrum while learning more about identifying personal interests, building healthy relationships, and taking care of your mental health.

Breakout session topics will include relationships, dating and sexuality, identifying interests and finding others who have similar interests, and taking care of your mental health.

Professional Track

Created for teachers, medical professionals, first-responders, business owners, and other community members.  Gain resources and strategies on how to best support members of our autism community.

Breakout session topics will include strategies for building “Autism Friendly Communities,” gender differences, sensory integrations, communicating with non-verbal individuals, and more.
