Member Events
The ASCV hosts several events specifically for ASCV members throughout the year. These social events are great opportunities for individuals and families to meet and connect. Member Events are appropriate for all ages, and family members are welcome.
Many ASCV Member Events occur annually, such as our Pumpkin Patch Outing and Holiday Party, but ASCV will occasionally host one-time only programs as the opportunity arises, such as our Wings for Autism program. Not all of the Member Events listed below will be hosted every year.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Outing
ASCV Members are invited to join us for a fun outing at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden! Lewis Ginter offers year-round beauty on a historic property with more than 50 acres of spectacular gardens, dining, and shopping. A classical domed Conservatory is the only one of its kind in the mid-Atlantic. More than a dozen themed gardens include a Children’s Garden, Rose Garden, Asian Valley and Cherry Tree Walk.
Flying Squirrels Baseball Game
ASCV Members are invited to join us for an evening at The Diamond to cheer on the Flying Squirrels.
Summer Shindig
The Summer Shindig is back! Don’t miss the ASCV’s annual member summer celebration.
Trunk or Treat
We are excited to bring back our annual ASCV Member Trunk or Treat for another year! Autistic individuals of all ages and their families are invited to join us to enjoy some trunk-or-treating.
There will be interactive activities and our wonderful community partners will be handing out trunk or treat items!
Pumpkin Patch Outing
Each year ASCV members enjoy a day at the pumpkin patch! From picking pumpkins to navigating the corn maze, there are fun fall activities for all!
Holiday Party
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – join the ASCV for our annual Member Holiday Party at the Science Museum of Virginia! Each year, ASCV members come together to celebrate the season enjoying visits with sensory-friendly Santa, crafts, refreshments, and access to the Science Museum exhibits!
