Neuropsychologists and Psychiatrists
Neuropsychologists and psychiatrists both work with individuals experiencing brain-related and behavioral health conditions, but their roles differ in focus and approach. Neuropsychologists specialize in comprehensive testing and evaluation to understand how brain injuries, neurological conditions, or developmental differences impact thinking, memory, learning, behavior, and daily functioning. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who diagnose and treat mental health conditions, often using medication management alongside other therapeutic interventions.
