Our ASCV Transportation Scholarship offers financial assistance for autistic individuals and their families to use towards transportation to and from ASCV programs and events. Recipients can receive funding toward transportation expenses such as ride share fees and gas. Recipients can choose from e-gift cards to Uber, Lyft, Wawa, and Sheetz. Applicants are eligible for up to $150 per calendar year. 

Eligibility Guidelines for an ASCV Transportation Scholarship:

1. One application may be submitted per household per year
2. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must reside in the ASCV’s service area – Amelia, Chesterfield, City of Richmond, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, Hopewell, King William, Louisa, New Kent, Petersburg, Powhatan, or Prince George.
3. To be eligible for consideration, an individual in the household must have an official diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder and provide documentation to the ASCV
4. If awarded funds, they must be used towards transportation to and from ASCV programs and events. History of attendance at ASCV events may be used in consideration of eligibility . 

Note: Awards are based on eligibility criteria and funds available.  Partial scholarships could be awarded.
