We are so fortunate to partner with more than 100 local organizations to bring unique programs to our ASCV members. Each partnership expands the number of fun, and engaging programs that we can offer to our local community. From developing new social skills to creating moments for genuine connection, these partnerships provide incredible opportunities for attendees.
This month, we teamed up with Beyond Boundaries to host a rock climbing experience for autistic children and adults. The unique experience was the first for many. Peak Experiences in Richmond hosted Beyond Boundaries and our members, who scaled to new heights.
“These new programs wrap up an extensive lineup of programs created in partnership with Beyond Boundaries this year,” said Executive Director, Ann Flippin.
That’s one reason the ASCV honored Beyond Boundaries with the 2022 Mission Partner Award during the ASCV’s annual gala. They are a strong community partner of the ASCV, hosting active and engaging programming month after month.
Programs featuring outdoor hikes, pontoon boat rides, scavenger hunts, fishing trips, and campouts connect autistic youth and adults with each other, their community, and nature. Beyond Boundaries creates incredible experiential activities for program participants, teaching new skills, building confidence, and promoting personal growth. This organization truly goes above and “beyond.”
