Fundraise

There are many ways to fundraise year-round, and we can help you find a method that best matches your interests.

Engage your neighbors, network, or school community by hosting a lemonade stand, bake sale or a Facebook campaign. Plan a “wear jeans for a dollar” day at your workplace, or organize a give-back fundraiser at your favorite restaurant.

Third Party Events

The ASCV welcomes invitations to partner with community members through Third Party Events. The ASCV was grateful to be the charitable beneficiary of several successful Third Party Events in 2023, including the Cross Bearers Motorcycle Ministry “Ride 4 Autism,” Yankee Point Marina’s Concert Series, and more.

School Campaigns

Engage your classroom, club, or student body in raising funds and awareness for the autism community. During National Autism Awareness Month each April, the ASCV hosts a School Fundraising Challenge with prizes, incentives, and more. Can’t participate in April? Not to worry. Raising funds, acceptance, and awareness are year-round activities, and we are here to help you get started! Contact us at [email protected] for ideas and support.

Host a Retail or Restaurant Give-Back Event

Many restaurants and businesses will offer give-back event opportunities to fundraise for nonprofits. Ask your favorite restaurant or business if they would donate a portion of proceeds during a period of time to the ASCV, advertise the event to your network, and then gather your friends and family for a fun time!

Community Partnerships

Do you own or manage a business? We would love to partner with you as you raise awareness and funds through a retail or restaurant campaign. We would love to collaborate on a signature menu item, round-up campaign, or happy hour special. Contact our Development Manager at [email protected] to discuss how your business can support the ASCV’s mission to improve the lives of all affected by autism in Central Virginia.
